Clean the Supermarket! on PC uses a straightforward control scheme optimized for fast sorting. Movement follows standard Roblox WASD conventions, while interaction keys are mapped to the left hand so your right hand stays on the mouse for camera control and shelf placement.

Pick Up and Place Workflow

The PC interaction loop in Clean the Supermarket alternates between E and left-click depending on context. When facing a loose product on the floor or a mis-shelved item, press E or left-click to add it to your carry stack. Walk to the correct aisle—use the Item Lookup tool if you are unsure where a product belongs—and left-click the empty slot on the shelf row to place it.

Matching products must stay together on the same shelf row, a rule shared with other Tidyverse sorting titles. PC players have a slight advantage here: mouse precision lets you target specific slots in crowded rows without accidentally placing on the wrong tier. Practice lining up your camera perpendicular to the shelf face before clicking to place.

Drop Mechanics

Press F to drop the topmost item from your stack. This is essential when you over-collect during a batch run through multiple departments or grab a product you cannot identify. Dropped items remain on the floor where you stand, so drop in a clear area to avoid blocking aisle traffic in multiplayer sessions.

A common early-game mistake is carrying too many items before upgrading stack capacity. If your stack is full and you try to pick up another product, nothing happens until you place or drop something. Wipe Save (T)

The T key is unique to PC and triggers an immediate save wipe. There is no confirmation dialog in some builds, so treat this key as dangerous on shared family computers. All purchased upgrades, department progress, and shelf completion states reset permanently. Console and mobile players find the same option buried in settings—PC players simply need to avoid accidental key presses near the T key during gameplay.

Mouse and Camera Tips

Smooth camera control separates efficient PC players from those who constantly overshoot shelf targets. Keep your sensitivity moderate—Roblox default settings work well for aisle navigation. When entering a new aisle, pan the camera to scan the full row before picking up items, identifying gaps and misplaced products in one pass.

• Zoom out slightly in wide aisles to see the full shelf length at once.
• Click placement works at a short range—stand close to the target row.
• Use shift-lock (Roblox setting) if you prefer fixed camera during carry runs.
• Bind Roblox emote menu away from gameplay keys to avoid mis-clicks.

PC vs Other Platforms

PC remains the preferred platform for competitive sorting and late-game infinite shelf management because mouse placement is faster than gamepad triggers or touch targets. However, all progress is account-bound, so you can start on PC and continue on mobile without losing upgrades.
